I went off to camp on Thursday. Waking up early leaving the house at 6 a.m., I couldn’t even sleep the previous night. I didn’t know what to expect, my memories of TDC 11 wasn’t very nice, but boy, was I in for one helluva fun ride.
Through out the four days and three nights, we had plentiful games that kept us entertained. There were also talks by Brothers and mini lectures and insights from both Brothers and Sisters. Somehow it was the ‘forgiveness’ talk that captivated me the most, and now, I have well and trully forgiven you as I have to myself. Of all things, the best thing about this camp, is
The People.
Not everybody is in here but I love this picture :)
And I mean the excos,the committees, the fecis and all the participants (Okay not all of them but MOST of them are nice.) These people are are dedicated, passionate, spontaneous and out-going. It’s amazing that if you are shy or if you’re having a problem, they’ll be there for you. And it’s not in the unrealistic kind of fairy tale way but in a way that will actually touch you. Hell, I didn’t cry during the kayalan mitra but I was really touched and happy to know that I will have true friends out there who will understand me and accept me for who I am.

Brian: You’re an amazing leader. And you’re a nice person. Not to mention you’re good at acting gay :P

Jewel: You may be tiny, but you seriously showed us you can still be independent and mix around with others.

Zhao De: You are a nice guy. But GodDamn you are TALL
Mei Yee: *Same chinese name as me :DD* I love love love talking to you. You are nice and friendly and outgoing and so many other things I don’t know how to describe! Gosh and you aren’t yong sui, you are very gorgeous and so is your personality :PP
Jack: You were sick on the first day and thus quiet. You didn’t seem very nice at first but you showed me wrong. Though sometimes you are quiet you are still a nice guy to me and I think it’s safe to say, me and everybody else, likes you like that (:
And then there are all the other people,
Like Min Hui, my bimbo partner which I only grew closer to in this camp
Jesmine and Swea Ching, who makes us go to sleep at night (but in the end, when they close the door me and Min Hui started dancing and stuff ;P ), not to mention bimbo partners too.
And all the guys who were friendly and treated the girls with respect. (Such gentlemanly attitude. Tsk.)
Yeahh, as to my point, I realized that who cares if one person doesn’t love you anymore when probably ninety plus others will? I love you, everybody. And I’ll never forget all the great things we’ve been through in these four days and three nights. Which, had been the BEST time in my life so far and probably more has yet to come for all the future TDCs and YDCs (next year :DD)
